West Alligator Head is now Open! High clearance 4WD only.
Following the 2 Mile/4 Mile Hole track leads you to West Alligator Head – this is the only opportunity to view Kakadu’s pristine coast line by land. Bush campsites are available – please take water with you and obey all safety information on-site.
- FREE ranger-guided activities have recommenced in the East Alligator region but are subject to last minute cancellations due to cultural reasons.
- All other Guided walks, slide shows/activities in other regions will continue as per normal schedule.
- Connect with country and get a deeper understanding of Kakadu’s natural and cultural features.
