- Kakadu early dry season burning program has commenced. Every year in the early dry season, controlled burns are conducted across the park by Bininj and park staff. This helps to clean up removing dry grassses which helps generate new plant growth. The new growth provides an important food source for Kakadu’s fauna, so please be cautions of wildlife grazing particularly by the roadside. Please observe all for burning warning sgins and for further information contact Bowali.
- Water facilities – Due to seasonal conditions, we recommend boiling water from campgrounds and day use areas for at least 10 minutes prior to consumption.
