PLEASE NOTE:

  • West Alligator Head is now open 4WD vehicles essential to access this site, please bring drinking water as the bore is not operational at this time.
  •  Twin Falls is now open to high clearance 4WD with snorkel required. Jim Jim creek is at 0.8m, proceed with caution.
  • The southern entrance of Kakadu (Mary River Region) will be selling park entry passes each week from Wednesday to Sunday.

UPCOMING EVENTS 2017:

  • 1st – 7th October 2017 Kakadu Bird Week  – Kakadu is home to more than a third of Australia’s Bird Species. Reward yourself when joining traditional owners, Parks Australia and local birding specialists to celebrate the Top End’s diverse bird life during Kakadu Bird Week.

  • Boat shuttle tickets are $12.50 per Adult, children under 16 years of age are free and the boat shuttle departs from the Twin Falls day use car park. The shuttle departs every 15 minutes between the hours of 8am – 4pm every day. Tickets can be purchased at Bowali Visitor Centre and at the site of Twin Falls with cash payment only.
