PLEASE NOTE:

  • Home Billabong Boat Ramp is currently open, however Please see Cooinda Lodge staff before launching your boat, due to the high risk of safety. Take extreme caution as flood waters have risen and are fast flowing.
  • Mardugal Boat Ramp: Due to flood waters rising and flowing fast, extreme caution is to be taken. It is advised that launching boats are to be done by High Clearance 4WD vehicles ONLY.
  • Yurmikmik Walks are now OPEN.
  • Cahills Crossing CLOSED due to safety and cultural reasons.
  • Magela Creek (road to Ubirr) is now IMPASSABLE. Water over the road at 1.5 metres flowing and likely to rise.
  • Please drive with care and adhere all signage.

WORLD WETLANDS DAY 2017 – Saturday 4th February 2017 (10am – 1pm) at the Bowali Visitor Centre. Come down and learn about your wetland backyard, listen to Ranger talks and check out their Air-boat Display, enjoy the free BBQ and try your luck at some competitions. There will be kids activities and more!

Warradjan Cultural Centre opening hours are from 9am – 3pm until the 31st of March 2017.

Diesel and Premium fuel service at the Gagudju Lodge Cooinda is operational. Opal fuel is unavailable until further notice. Opal fuel can be replaced with Premium fuel if required.
